I took Fran to the doctor this morning. He said he believed her allergies are the biggest
problem she is having. He prescribed
Z-Pack and a cough medicine with a nose spray.
Also he went over her labs from Tuesday morning and wants to see her in
six weeks. We have conference in
Clarksville tomorrow and asked the doctor if it would be OK for Fran to
go. He said she’ll be on anti-biotic, so
as long as she don’t speak, it’ll be OK.

Fran woke up with a sore throat this morning and can’t
hardly talk. I called the doctor’s
office and they said this is his day off.
The nurse practitioner will be there at 10:00 am, but Fran wants to wait
until tomorrow so she can see the doctor.
I called John’s hospital room this morning and Mary Lou answered the
phone. She said she was taking John
home, so we’ll be able to meet with them again soon, pray for them.

The young Elders from Lietchfield rode with us to
Clarksville, TN this morning. It was
raining all the way. We had a good
district meeting and may have gotten help with our Spanish speaking
investigator from the Spanish speaking Sisters.
If they get permission to come to Hartford they will come up Tuesday to
help teach Eric, I hope they can come.
After we got back to Hartford we met with Sister Lindsey and she went
with us to Barbara’s house to give the first discussion. Barbara has been baptized, early summer, but
hasn’t been to church. She has asked to
receive the lessons again, so we thought it would be good for her to meet a
member of the branch. When we got home,
Fran said she had a sore throat. I hope
she isn’t getting sick.
